Product Rave!! - - - Aveeno tinted moisturizer - - -

Pros:
- Has fantastic light coverage...most of the time I do not like thick, full coverage foundations on my face in the summer..with all of the heat...I like to have my skin breathe, and this has been working wonderfully for the past few weeks that I have trying it.
- Nice dispenser- one press and thats all I need
- No breakout- What else can I ask for?
- not greasy- I have oily to combination skin, and with the one pump that I use, I find it to give me a nice sheer coverage with a radiant look..not dewy.

Cons:
- consistency is thick- I find it better to mix with another moisturizer..I preferably like to use my Lubriderm.

A few people have mentioned to me that they like to use a drop of their foundation with this product, but say to make sure you just use your hands because the brushes sometimes leave a streaky look.

Overall:
I really am liking this product. I bought mines from my local drugstore, and it was a bit pricey compared to the other drugstore tinted moisturizers, but keep in mind it does come with a spf.  In the summer I only wear a spf and sometimes a tinted moisturizer..if I look really tired in the morning, etc...but this product gives me both. I never wear a foundation in the summer, just because I have a oily to combo skin and by the end of the day I think I would look better off without the gunky foundation. This is a great alternative to those with similar skin tones or those who just do not wear foundation everyday.

What will you guys do to keep your skin looking fresh this summer?

Thank you =)

Aloha!!!...new Glades candle scent ..plus an extra

Aloha everyone! I am a big fan of candles..its just cheers up the mood...especially when it is rainy, and also when you want to have the fruity and natural smell of "summer". I usually go for the winter scents such as jasmine and lavender but once the weather changes warmer, I go for the more fresh scents.

Where I live, winter is 8 months of the whole year..so just imagine how much I wish spring/summer would come. It's a bit sunny and rainy here today..and I came across this new scent my glades today at my local drugstore (rite aid)....Hawaiian Breeze scent with essential oils. Not only does it smell fresh and look so bright..but it is not overwhelmingly fruity. I really do not like scents that are tooo sweet...and this is just a perfect balance.

It’s a new scent and it reminds me of summer vacation in the tropics...which I am just dreaming of taking. But for the mean time, it smells fab and keeps me going while I am studying...

An EXTRA: I just received this Victoria Moore indulgence massage candle as a gift..and I have just used it once, but what can I say...well it has frankincense, jasmine, and vanilla bean...and it smells fantastic!!!!! It says its from the UK..but you can always try to get it shipped to your home for your convenience.

I hope you guys can get your hands on some of these amazing candles...and let me know what are your favorite candles  =)

Have a great day!

(NOTD) Nails of the Day ~Easter~

Nails of the Day ~Easter

Sally Hansen - Xtreme wear
#270 Lacey Lilac
This is a super fun..purple-ly color..just great for Easter and spring.
Pastels are very in right now for spring.
I have a few other purples from revlon but not as amazing...
Anywhos its this polish is a lot more nicer. Goes on pretty smoothly and opaque with only one coat. Also did I forget to say this was only 2 bucks! But I have to sadly admit the texture is kind of gunky and when I'm done painting my nails..I feel like a little kid. But overall, it is fab!
Have a wonderful day!

Maybelline Shine sensational lip glosses

I’m so in love and impressed with these new lip glosses... and wondering how many more can I get my hands on!  The one I did get and love is the Cherry Kiss because I feel like I ate a cherry popsicle...tint with a brilliant shine.

At first I was hesitant to even purchase any...just thinking that most drugstore lip glosses just have been way too sticky for me, but this has blown me away. I think it's quite moisturizing and it's sticky enough to stay on your lips for a while, but not so sticky or tacky that you'll feel uncomfortable wearing it. It's a smooth lipgloss that I would turn to again and again--but for the flavor more than how it looks my lips. It's a summer must for me =)

Maybelline’s Shine Sensational Lip Glosses are January 2010 releases (suggested retail $5.99) and are available in 18 colors. Will you be trying any out?

Milani Baked Powder Blush

I experienced some major heart beatsafter running into these!

They are just so gorgeous.

THE GOOD:
The blush mimics the design of the bronzer in packaging, formula, finish, and even in some of the shades.  The blushes all apply beautifully and blend out dreamy. They leave behind a glow-y, softly focused flush. I found these at Walgreens and they were on the Milani main shelf, no special display.

THE BAD:
The packaging does not run nearly as large as the bronzer one and is a more suitable compact design, and it is a little shimmery..

OVERALL:
I loved the product, it is just wonderful for spring.

I know so many of you are eos lip balm fans, and you know that I am too
so I bet you're as excited about these as I am! The retail price for this duo is $5.99 at Walgreens...and I am loving it!! it is smooth, creamy and even better then the other 3 EOS balms.

Check it out, and let me know what your thoughts are..

Oh! And I just saw that these are available for pre-order on Target.com for just $5.09
